National Seniors Day is an opportunity for all us to celebrate and recognize the contributions seniors make in our lives and community.
Councillor Diane Deans and members of the Seniors Roundtable would like to invite members of the public to attend a flag raising ceremony and proclamation on Friday September 30, 2016.

The United Nations (UN) also recognizes October 1st each year as the International Day of the Older Person to celebrate the contributions of seniors to societies around the world. A flag recognized by the UN will be raised on Friday September 30th and it will remain flying until sunset on Saturday October 1, 2016.
COMPUTER LITERACY PROGRAM
Inviting all seniors who would like to learn about various functions to operate their computers and other devices:
6 week workshops to help you better understand your computers or tablets.
Topics include: basics, security, fraud protection, search engines, email, online shopping, video calling and more.
